In this guide, we walk you through signing in, using advanced filters to find tenders, and setting up alerts for new opportunities. You'll also learn how to bookmark tenders and save searches for easy access later. Follow along and explore these features as I demonstrate them.
1. Search by Keyword
- Users can perform searches using keywords in the Search by Keyword bar on the right side of the interface.
- This helps refine results to display tenders relevant to specific business interests.
2. Additional Filters
Under the Search by Keyword bar, users can apply additional filters:
- Origin – The home country of the organization issuing the tender.
- Sectors – Uses the European Common Procurement Vocabulary for classifying goods, services, or works.
- Place of Performance – The country where the tender will be executed.
- Deadline – The submission deadline for the tender.
- Budget – The estimated budget for the project.
- Update Date – The date the tender information was last updated.
3. Performing a Test Search
Example:
- A company selling supplies in the pharmaceutical sector looking for tenders originating from and delivered to the UK.
- Filters applied: Pharmaceutical Products sector, tenders above $1,000.
- Keywords can be added, e.g., pregnancy tests, to refine the search further.
4. Bookmarking Tenders
- Once a relevant tender is found, it can be bookmarked using the bookmark icon.
- Bookmarked tenders are accessible on the left side of the page under the Bookmarks section.
- Users can remove bookmarks from this section or by unclicking the icon in search results.
5. Saving Searches
- Users can save searches by clicking Save Search.
- Saved searches retain selected filters and can be accessed later.
- Found under Bookmarks on the left panel.
- Saved searches can be edited, deleted, or performed again by clicking the magnifying glass icon.
6. Creating Alerts
- Alerts notify users when tenders matching saved search criteria are added to the database.
- Alerts require: Title, Email recipient, Frequency (e.g., Monthly)
- Alerts can be managed in the Alerts section on the left panel.
- Users can enable, disable, edit, delete, or rerun alerts.
7. Viewing Tender Details
A tender entry contains:
- Description – AI-generated and reportable.
- Original source details – Link to the original posting.
- Status, sectors, place of origin/performance, budget, deadline, and documents.
- Documents – Can be stored internally or downloaded externally.
- Issuing Organization Details – Includes name, address, postal code, website, and contact persons.
8. Organization Search
- The Organizations section aggregates contracting entities, buyers, and suppliers.
- Clients can find competitors (awarded companies) or research specific entities.
- Searches can be performed by entering the legal residence of the company.
- Organization profiles include:
- Logo, title, AI-generated description
- Contact details
- Tenders managed as an authority, buyer, or award recipient
9. Profile Management
- Clients have personal profiles that include:
- Subscription details (plan, invoices, newsletter, settings)
- Bookmarks, saved searches, and alerts
10. Newsroom
Tenderwell Chat features a Newsroom where updates and articles on public procurement are published.
